ACCESS TO GENERAL PRACTICE FOR NON-COVID SYMPTOMS
Thank you for adhering to the social distancing guidance.
Understandably, there is much focus currently on the symptoms of coronavirus. People, however, still get unwell from non-covid related illnesses. There is some evidence nationally that people are seeking health advice at a later stage compared to normal, and as a result a small number of people are becoming more unwell and needing additional urgent treatment.
We have put in a lot of changes at our surgery in response to coronavirus in recent weeks to try and maintain and improve access whilst limiting unnecessary face to face appointments.
Do you need a GP appointment about something other than Coronavirus? Here's what to do:-
Contact us by telephone: 0131 554 1036
Following your contact you will be assessed and as far as possible you will receive advice or care either over the phone or via video consultation.
If a face-to-face appointment is necessary, you will be advised on what to do.
Please DO NOT enter the practice unless you’ve been advised to. If you have been advised to come to the surgery then please come alone if possible. This will ensure we can continue to provide essential care safely.
Thank you for continuing to use NHS services appropriately, especially during this COVID-19 pandemic.
